The French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI France Russie) visited a Jewelry Diamond Cutting Cluster as part of organizing a business mission in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

A delegation from France headed by the President of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Emmanuel Kide arrived in Yakutsk. The French delegation includes representatives of Sanofi, Sodexo and TOTAL (Saft Batteries). Following the meeting of the French delegation with SAYBM, an agreement was reached on the potential intention of exporting diamonds to France. SAYBM management conducted a tour of the jewelry and lapidary cluster. The guests got acquainted with the production process, watched the first batch of diamonds produced on the territory of JDCC.

The visit of the French delegation was organized by the Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Export Support of Republic Sakha. The Agency for Attracting Investments and Export Support RS (Y) and the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry have concluded an agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation. The purpose of the joint activity: creating favorable conditions for the development of investment and export activities between the two countries.
