Kangalassy Industrial Park Took Part in the Foresight Session “The Future of Kangalassky School” October 29 at Kangalassky secondary school held a foresight session on the development and modernization of a suburban educational institution. The event was attended by employees of the management company of the Kangalassy industrial park, resident companies of the priority development area, the education department of the Yakutsk, the teaching staff of the school and the village kindergarten, as well as representatives of the parent community and school students.

During the session, the participants divided into groups and formed four teams that were tasked with making proposals related to the development of school education and the possibility of introducing advanced developments in the educational process. Particular attention was paid to career guidance for students in the digital age.

Experts of the event were: Dmitry Borisov, director of the management company Industrial Park Kangalassy LLC (a subsidiary of Far East Development Corporation JSC), Tamara Popova, deputy head of the Yakutsk Hall Education Department, and Alexei Petrov, director of school No. 18. The foresight session was moderated by: Deputy Director of Industrial Park Kangalassy LLC, CEO of the Jewelry and Diamond Cutting Cluster of SAYBM LLC Anna Ivanova, Director of Markha School No. 1 Maria Struchkova.

During a brainstorming session, participants using moderators identified the dominant trends in education and predicted the development of Kangalassky secondary school for the coming decades. The foresight resulted in the presentation of projects – proposals for the modernization of secondary education in the village, taking into account the development of technology, technology and an increase in the number of enterprises resident in the TOR. According to the organizers, all the proposals collected will be considered and the best of them will be included in the development map of the Kangalassky Secondary School.

“Until recently, graduates of Kangalassky secondary school preferred to choose their specialty, given that they would be looking for work in another city. This was due to the almost complete absence of jobs. Some schoolchildren admit that if there are jobs here, they will prefer to stay. The jobs created in the TOR enable graduates of the Kangalas school to live and work in their native village.

In addition, the Kangalassky Secondary School should provide high-quality education and become one of the leading in Russia, so that it becomes an incentive to attract highly qualified specialists from all over the republic who will move families to Kangalassy to work in the TOR, ”concluded Dmitry Borisov.
